Annual estimates are not quarterly Stats SA figures. Adverts are not a count of all vacancies. Career rankings and salary ranges are curated guidance. Sources & update policy →
How updates work
- World Bank annual unemployment estimates: checked daily. Statistics change when the publisher releases data.
- Adzuna job advertising: checked at most hourly when someone visits market data, plus the daily scheduled refresh. Requires the platform’s Adzuna connection.
- Career scores, salary ranges, province comparisons, courses, bursaries and programme details: curated reference material, not live feeds. Confirm salaries, eligibility, deadlines and availability with the named provider before acting.
Failed checks preserve the previous valid observation and show a warning. Sources without a successful observation show no figure. Automatic requests retry after a five-minute cooldown.
